Hiya, I'm Espy (she/they)!
I am a queer, multidisciplinary artist/designer, poet, musician, educator, and event organizer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have been a working artist since 2016 but have been creating for most of my life. My work is deeply rooted in themes of identity, self-perception, and mental health struggles. You will find a variety of mediums and techniques incorporated into each of my pieces as a reflection of the contained chaos mental illness brings me. Through my work, I aim to promote self-reflection and open dialog about the viewers' own personal struggles and hope they find solace in shared experiences.
My work has exhibited in spaces such as Fleetwood SF, Silver Sprocket, Vallejo Open Studios, Mare Island Art Studios, Vacaville Art League & Gallery, to VERY humbly name drop a few.
When I am not working on my own projects, I make up the other half of Little Art Show. A small works pop-up show currently serving Vallejo, CA. The other half of LAS is Liberty Pierson, who I urge you to check out if you have not already. We produce and curate this show for local artists in collaboration with local shops and studios to host our artists.
